Last year, Amer Abdallah received a great honor when, after winning his world title, Lockport, NY proclaimed July 20th to be “Amer Abdallah Day” in recognition of his impressive accomplishment.  Today, we mark the one year anniversary of that day.

“One of the most distinguished awards of my life was my hometown naming July 20th after me for winning WNY’s first world title. 
I genuinely love Lockport, NY & will always consider that home,” said Abdallah.
